Clean Up the Clutter!
(from SOS4Students’ Coach Kelsi)
School will be out soon, which means it’s time to find the time to get rid of the post-it notes, papers, and clutter that weigh you down.
We naturally avoid messes, so if our backpacks, purses, or planners are a mess, we’ll tend to avoid using them, which creates problems.
The purge can be a portion of your planning time or completely separate, but making time for it is just as important as planning. When you’re done, acknowledge the work you did and how helpful it was. Our internal dialogue plays a big role in how we maintain or abandon our planning and other systems.
