We’ve Got Your Back

SOS4Students helps students and their parents navigate the education system. This is often an important part of supporting student self-sufficiency and success, which can play a key role in getting students on track and improving family dynamics.

  • SOS4Students Coaches Advocate for Students & Families
  • Work with Parents and Schools to Improve or Develop IEP or 504 Plans
  • Help Parents Understand Their Rights and Advocate with School Administration and Educators
  • Our Coaches Often Attend School Meetings, IEPs, or Student Study Teams

SOS4Students coaches often work with school staff to make adjustments or modifications in curriculum delivery, assignments, or expectations for their coaching students. The goal is for parents, students, coaches, and school educators to work together. SOS4Students coaches may attend school meetings, IEPs, or student study teams to increase their understanding of student issues and challenges, and to help articulate what support the school might provide the student.
