SOS4Students Initiated Changes
SOS4Students reserves the right to cancel workshops and other events due to insufficient enrollment or complications beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund will be given.
SOS4Students also reserves the right to change workshop dates and times published, or to consolidate classes. Full refunds are available upon request in these circumstances.
Requesting to Change Workshops
If you wish for your student to participate in a different workshop date, SOS4Students must be notified in writing at least 30 days prior to the date your student was originally enrolled or the date of the desired workshop date. SOS4Students will make every effort to accommodate the switch based on enrollment numbers in the desired workshop.
For students wishing to move to another workshop which is more expensive, SOS4Students will invoice for the additional amount.
For students wishing to move to another workshop which is less expensive, the purchaser will be refunded the difference.
Please note that all requests to move workshops will be subject to a $45 service fee. Any requests to move workshops that are received less than 30 days in advance cannot be accommodated.
Cancellations must be made in writing 60 days prior to the workshop date. With this written notice, cancellations will be refundable, minus a $45 service fee.
Cancellations in writing within 59 to 30 days will be refunded half price and be subject to the $45 service fee.
There will be no refunds issued for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the workshop. A credit toward future workshops may be offered at the sole discretion of SOS4Students. SOS4Students’ decision is final.
All classes are closed to parents and friends to ensure students are fully present and not distracted.
SOS4Students instructors encourage participation and engagement from all students enrolled in a workshop. In the event that your student declines to participate, we will try reasonable efforts to encourage participation, as long as it is not distracting or taking away from other students in the workshop.
Any student who is disruptive to a workshop or discourteous to teachers or other students will have one brief private discussion with an instructor and will be issued a warning. Parents or Guardians will be contacted and the student will be asked to leave for subsequent disruptions.
If a student can not attend one or more sessions of a scheduled workshop and SOS4Students was not notified in advance, students will not be able to make-up days nor will recordings of workshops be available.
Coaching Sessions & Other Appointments
For school-year and summer coaching and other appointments, SOS4Students requires 48-hours’ notice to reschedule. Except in emergencies (health, etc.), appointments cancelled with less than 48-hours’ notice will be billed at the regular rate. Missed appointments will also be billed at the regular rate.
